Steel Look Aluminium Installation
Detached Stone Property – Harrogate

This project is a strong example of how steel-look aluminium can enhance a traditional Yorkshire stone property without losing its original character.
Using the Alitherm Heritage system, the goal was to introduce a bold, industrial-style aesthetic while maintaining symmetry and architectural consistency across the property.
A full installation of 29 heritage aluminium windows was carried out, each featuring ultra-slim glazing bars to create a true steel-look finish. The chosen RAL 9005 matt black provides a sharp contrast against the stone, giving the property a distinctive and modern edge.
Key features included:
- Slim 25mm glazing bars across all windows
- Floor-to-ceiling fixed picture windows to maximise light
- Bespoke triangular feature window in the roof space
- Integrated trickle ventilation for full Building Regulations compliance
This project demonstrates how aluminium glazing can deliver both character and performance when designed and installed correctly.
At the rear of the property, two 5m-wide heritage bifold doors open up the main living space, creating a seamless connection to the garden. These were paired with additional heritage aluminium doors, all designed to match the window system perfectly.
Despite restricted access and coordination with multiple trades, the installation was completed on schedule, with a clean, precise finish throughout.
Full House Heritage Installation
New Build Home – Doncaster

This full-house installation shows how heritage aluminium can be used within a modern new build to create a consistent, high-end finish across the entire property.
The home features 24 aluminium windows with slim glazing bars, delivering a steel-inspired aesthetic across all elevations while maintaining modern performance standards.
The rear elevation is built around a five-panel heritage bifold door, designed as the centrepiece of the living space. Floor-to-ceiling fixed glazing either side enhances natural light and creates a strong visual focal point.
Finished in RAL 9005 matt black, the glazing contrasts cleanly with the building, reinforcing the modern architectural style.

This project highlights how the right glazing specification can elevate a new build from standard to standout.
